About

My journey with photography started when I was nearly done with school when I attended an airshow and used a DSLR camera for the first time. My love for aviation started when I was a little boy and since coming out of an aviation family I always wanted to become a pilot and join the Air Force, unfortunately when I grew older my eyes let me down so I wasn’t able to join the Air Force after I matriculated. I had to decide on something else and fortunately for me, my dad had bought a DSLR which I then used for the first time at an airshow.

It was just incredible, being able to take images of the aircraft looking through the viewfinder seeing details that the eye can’t even see properly and another ironic story, I use to have many aviation magazines but I never really read the content or articles but I always looked at the images…not knowing that when I grow up that was what I would actually do.

After school I decided to learn more about photography so I went to study it, and so I also started reading up about a lot, that was how I taught myself over the years.

I also worked abroad for a few years on cruise ships as a photographer which was pretty damn awesome, so I have been able to see places like New York, Miami, many Caribbean Islands such as Saint Maarten, Grand Turk, Grand Cayman, Aruba, Nassau (Paradise Island) to name a few.

Photography opened my eyes to so many things and being close to seeing similar what a mole can see, it is just amazing and ironic, also meeting so many amazing people, doing what you love is a blessing.
